I got diverted from Unley Rd to Uraidla Rd by a Google Maps error message. Once I got there, I found this amazingly old-fashioned street of shops including a bookshop and cafe, a fruit shop and bottle shop, a chemist and a newsagent, a hair and beauty salon, a small grocery and a hardware store. It was like stepping back in time 40 years to my childhood. I got diverted from Unley Rd to Uraidla Rd by a Google Maps error message. The food at the Uraidla restaurant in the Adelaide Hills is very good. The price is good, too. I had the Chicken Pie, which was very tasty, and my friend had the Prawns, which was also very tasty. The Uraidla is just at the top of the main street between Meadows and Mt Compass, across from the BP.
